Identify installed software
Note: the list of installed software varies from PC to PC, depending on the programmes installed during the life of your device.
WINDOWS
- Access the control panel by pressing the 'start' button and typing 'control panel' or 'control panel', then open the first result;
- Press "Programs and Features" or "Programs";
- Display the list of installed software.

MAC OSX
- Select the Apple menu, select the "About this Mac" item;
- Click the "System Report" button;
- In the left-hand section of the list, select "Installations" to display a list of the various programs installed, the date of their installation and their source on the right.

Define best practices for the correct use of software
Follow and implement the following general rules for the correct use of software:
- Do not authorise the use of computers owned by staff or third parties in the company;
- Do not authorise the possession on your premises of digital media containing copies of copyrighted products, unless explicitly and directly exempted by the software manager;
- Computer equipment must always be formally assigned to employees;
- Always have an up-to-date inventory of owned computer equipment, delivery records and a list of products authorised and installed on computers;
- Packaging, licence documents, storage media must be carefully guarded.
